I just use a high end bicycle cable lock. I wouldn't leave it in a dark ally overnight, however.

Yeah, eBay, America's fence. Maybe go to the cops?

RE: First Major Wipeout on Pavement
I ride almost every day in Hood River, OR. and I see (maybe) one out of four O/W riders wearing any safety equipment at all. I've even seen a few guys riding with a bottle of beer in their hand (no open bottle law in Hood River). Amazing.

RE: board slows down uncommanded
The blinking goes on to infinity and I can't count that high.

board slows down uncommanded
Every once in awhile my plus will start slowing down uncommanded with the nose raising till the tail starts dragging and I hop off when it's almost at a stop. I check the blue light and it's blinking about twice a second instead of the (normal) once every two seconds. I turn it off then on and am good to go. Also, about every 20th start up I get the twice a second shit and have to do the off - on routine and the light returns to (normal) blinking and I can ride. I bought the board with 86 miles on it (now it has 1200 +) and it's always done that every 20th or so startup but the slowing down shit is fairly new. Any idea's? Thanks in advance.

RE: Age is just a number
I'm 75 and have over 1,100 miles on my plus. I ride most days in summer. None in winter (PNW).

RE: Board slowing down and stopping uncommanded
@stinkyface Thanks for the tips. The battery was close to full when this happened (twice). I'll leave it plugged in for a couple days and try to borrow an Android. Thanks again, Bob

Board slowing down and stopping uncommanded
While out riding, every so often, my XR+ will start slowing down with the nose raising (uncommanded) till the tail starts dragging. I get off and the blue light will be blinking about twice a second. I turn it off, then back on so the light is normal (about one blink per second) and I'm good to go.... for awhile. Every 8-10 starts the light does that fast blinking and is not ridable so I have to restart it and go. It's done that for 1,000+ miles but the slowing down is new. Idea's? Thanks, Bob.

RE: California Law on use of OneWheel
I've ridden over 1,000 miles in Oregon, Washington, California, and Nevada on city streets and sidewalks and have never been hassled by the cops. Shit..... like they could catch me LOL.

RE: Onewheel Photoshoot Thread...
@Sponge315 Ran you off the parking lot? Seriously? I ride my O/W INSIDE the casino's when I'm in Reno. I have a 6"x6" handicap sticker on the fender (which is legit - trashed knee from ski wrecks) that I show security with an explanation. Sometimes it even works LOL.
