That would be an awesome addition. I would use it just for the positive battery benefits.

RE: Riding Music
Started the week listening to some Dire Straits, wouldn't recommend them. Found that I was just pretty much ignoring them. Switched over to some CCR (Creedence Clearwater Revival, for those of you under 50) Suzi Q, Run through the jungle, Fortunate son, All great riding songs.
Funny thing is that even if I don't have the plugs in I'm still carving to these songs. I may have damaged my riding synapses.
RE: Pint charge port cap
Just to be clear on what you did. You are using the 7.14X12.7 (7pc) with the 7.14 little plug (20pc). Yes?
That of course leaves you with 6 spares. Or if you are feeling it, a micro business, ready to go.
And, if you are setting up said business, which of those plugs will fit in the V1/+/XR plug?
Let me know if you figure it out and I will Paypal you some bucks for one.
Did a search for a commute story thread and didn't see any. So I thought that I would start one.
My silly little story is that I took off this morning and noticed that I only had 25% on the app. Well my ride to work is about 2.5 miles. The last mile of which is all up a pretty big hill. I know that it usually takes about 20% of my battery, so that wouldn't leave me much to get home on, no problem I'll just throw the charger in my bag, and I'm off. (I suspect some of the more experienced riders know how this going to end already). Get to work, no worries, and plug my baby in.
8 hours later it's time to pack up and head out. Down the hall, across the parking lot, and about half way down the hill, My phone makes a terrible noise and the XR shuts down. What the?
"Battery overcharge", oh yeah, I did read something about that, like the first day I had this thing. Live and learn.
Maxxis EL series tire
I am getting close to the 1K mile, need a new tire mark. FM's deal where you send in your board would leave me without a board for who knows how long and we just can't have that. I have changed a lot of tires in my life so I'm not worried about doing it myself. So I have been reading up on the various tires people have tried and how they behave. But I can't seem to find any info on this tire.
So has anyone out there tried a Maxxis? They are pretty well regarded in the Kart community for quality and performance but that doesn't tell me much about how they will behave on the OW. Hard/soft? Flat/carveability?
Any info or experience would be awesome.
