@braswell That sounds about right. Ha! I have no doubt I'll return to a onewheel in the future.

    • Onewheel + Charger 4 Sale

I've absolutely loved my Onewheel! I got it late this summer and almost never got off of it. However, I'm not a fan of cold weather ( yet I live in the midwest). As fun as it was to get out and ride, I don't see myself riding this Winter. I've put my used board up on ebay. I'm sure I'll come back to a onewheel at some point. It's hard to stay away! New Footpads & Crash Blocks have been installed. Some wear and tear, but still in great shape!

      Thanks!

    • RE: Just got OneWheel. A question

I got my board back in July. It came with business cards. I don't really hand many out as there's no insentive for me to, but I also don't mind talking to people about it if they ask.

Back when I got mine, only select orders were getting an extra set of bumpers. I like calling them crash blocks. I ordered an extra set after getting them all scratched up over the summer. Just installed the new ones this morning. Just have to unscrew a few screws, pull out the old, replace with new. Pretty easy. I also added new foot boards. Looks like a new board!

    • RE: Speed Wobbles?

As said above, if you move too fast, you will wobble and nose dive. I learned my lesson. My wheel was full psi too.

The weather was amazing here in the midwest. How could I not get out and ride! I made this video along the way!

What firmware version are you running?

    • RE: Thrown off after nosedive with no pushback warning (nose dive, nose-dive)

I agree with Polle. It looks like way before the dive some pushback where the nose rises slightly and you seem to push through it, riding that out. That's just my initial thought watching the video. What firmware version are you riding? Just curious.

    • RE: Board not turning on sometimes

I would suggest always making sure it's placed properly on the ground before switching it on. I've personally never experienced this issue. If it does continue to be a problem, you'll want to contact support.

Are you setting the ow down on the ground properly, then turning it on? Pressing the button while the ow is being held or flipped in any other direction can result in problems starting up.

    • RE: SteadyCam TEST !!!

Thats super smooth! I wonder if you could make a holder for it, kind of like for a microphone, that could easily super clamp onto the back end of the board. Think of the cool hands free low angle shots you could get! I like what I'm seeing though!

    • RE: How did you hear about the Onewheel?

I saw a YouTube video of the OW at CES. It may have been coverage from The Verge.

Mikey you beat me to it! I got the same response. Good to know the current blocks are more durable!

So are they randomly choosing which orders get an extra set of crash blocks? I could use an extra set now that I'm more seasoned on my ow.

I looked in my box again, I didn't see an extra set of crash blocks. Are you sure you're supposed to recieve them by default?

    • RE: Anyone interested in my OW for sale?

These things get scratched up pretty quickly. Within hours of using it. It's perfectly normal. I wouldn't let that hesitate anyone from purchasing it. OW has to be my favorite purchase in a long while!! I agree, other than straight from FM, these things don't come up for sale all that often.

Franky, I was in the same position tonight. I'm located just outside Madison, WI. Was bummed I couldn't be out riding tonight. I was out the other day after we had some rain and actually enjoyed riding through some puddles. Now if only the fender was available!

    • RE: Helmet and pads or Naked?

If I'm just messin around my home I wont have my gear on, but if I'm going on the off road course or any other long distance I will. Helmet and wrist guards. I try to wear gear as much as possible. There's really no excuse. My friend who went down, wouldn't have been hurt if he wore wrist guards or a helmet.
