I had one grab me by the trouser leg while I was riding to work, he pulled me right off my board.. managed to run it out! lol
Board powers up ok for 1 minute and then it powers off.
The onewheel app keeps telling me it needs juice.
I’ve checked all the cells using the OWheelbuddy app and all of them are out of whack!
Looks like I have one bad cell at 2.72v checked again this morning and it dropped 2.60v. 😕
Do I leave leave it on to charge for a couple of days or send it in to FM?
I have had a similar problem but the symptoms only showed up when the board was cold(first ride of the morning) and til it warmed up.
The board would shut off, mileage reset to zero, and reset to classic.
The BMS was replaced and it took care of the problem.

@pat_hurley All cells look balanced.. battery percentage is a little bit messed up, it doesn't give me accurate readings.
I have to keep looking in "board settings" all the time!
Had about 30% battery power left when I got home.
Rode my onewheel up a hill on Sunday evening and then all of a sudden the motor cuts out on me for no reason! - Happened twice! 🙁
Managed to get back home ok, board seems to be working fine.
Pretty much lost my lifetime Miles (1,978 miles)
Also noticed it automatically switched back to classic mode, anyone know what's causing this?
My v1 does the same too, got a dodgy BMS!

The battery percentage is way off on mine, sometimes it wants to charge and other times it won't!
I just leave it alone on charge for a good number of hours and then press and hold the power button until I get a red light on the charger.
It's a temporary fix but it works for me.. most of the time. :)
I've attached a few pictures below.
I've tried two methods:
12v/10Ah (120Wh) LifePo4 battery + 300Watt power inverter + Onewheel supercharger
Total Weight (including Onewheel charger): 5lbs, 8oz
Results: Charge Onewheel 65% in 30min
12v/10Ah (120Wh) LifePo4 battery + 58v up-converter
Total Weight (no Onewheel charger needed): 3lbs, 15oz
Results: Charge Onewheel 72% in 90min
Needless to say, I'm disappointed with my results using setup #2 (basically the setup described in this thread) both in terms of the minimal charge improvement over the 120v inverter method but also/mostly in terms of the 90min charge time.
The thing I don't understand (which is probably why the charge time was so long) is that I programmed the up-converter to deliver 58v and 3.5a but it only actually was delivering at 1.1a. Did I do something wrong? Do I need a different kind of battery? Any suggestions would be appreciated.
Might be the solar controller.

Don't forget: you can find nearby riders directly from inside the OW app. From the main tab, select the riders icon in the upper right corner and select the range. It looks like you can message them, too, though I haven't tried it.
You can also see local rides near you, and if you mark rides before heading out it will save the ride route and stats for others to see.
There are probably better methods for group communication, but it's an easy way to see nearby riders and good spots that others have marked.
Two problems I've noticed using the OneWheel app:
• Messages are sent & received by email! 😕🙄
• Near by Riders - doesn't accurately show how far away each rider is!
Maybe they'll fix this problem in the next update.

Do you ride on the pavement or road? Or both?
I was riding my OneWheel on the road and a lady in her car sounded her horn at me.
So I went on the pavement so she could pass.
She said: excuse me, Do you pay road Tax?
I said: No...
Feel a little bit guilty for riding in the road, just wondered if any of you lot have had similar experiences. 😕
