Has anyone found the 11x6.5-6 treaded D30A in Europe or somewhere that will ship to Europe? Jegs will ship here but they only list the D10A on their website.

@wr420 Is your treaded a D30A? I can't find anyone that will ship that compound version to Europe. Sucks...

I'm embarrassed it took me so long to realize it was the hoverboard from BTTF. I need to go watch those movies again.

@tmock12 You live in Cluj? I was there 3 times in the last months, for work. Was mailing Wizzair to try to convince them to accept my OW on the flight, but not even 1 reaction from their side!!

@Polle Yea, American expat, I love it here! I shipped my OW from the US (it was a pain). I never got an answer from Lufthansa and shipping was the least risky way of getting it here. I'm pretty sure I've got the only 1 in Transylvania, at least I've never seen another. If you end up bringing yours to Cluj definitely let me know and we can go ride around! There are some great bike trails around.

I bought my OW in LA in June and got back to my country without any issues.. I knew TSA would confiscate my board so I had to disassemble it and separate it in three different bags. The wheel and tire in one bag, rails and controller in other bag, battery pack in hand luggage. I took care to wrap the battery in a sealed plastic bag as requested by the airliner. I covered the OW logo with duck tape and flattened the tire (no pressured devices allowed in bags). Back at home, I opened the bag with the wheel, there was a TSA inspection note inside, they checked my bag but did not confiscate anything.

I'm so jealous I didn't think of this. I ended up paying around $320 for shipping and $400 in import fees/customs even though I had owned and rode the board for 8 months before shipping it here after I moved (shouldn't have had to pay). They basically confiscated it at the border and told me to either pay or hire a lawyer. for $720 I happily would have taken the time to disassemble it had I thought of that.

I sent @Onewheel-Support a message on Facebook yesterday asking them what shipping provider they are using to ship to Europe. Hopefully I can use the same company they are using. Its been 4 months now that I've been without my Onewheel as its sitting at my brothers house in Atlanta, GA. I need to find a way to get this thing to Europe!!!

I tried checking it through British Airways as a skateboard, no go. So then I tried checking it through Lufthansa as film equipment, no go. In both cases they knew exactly what it was. What makes it worse is now I can't find anyone that will ship it air freight to Europe. USPS and DHL said no go. So my brother is having fun holding onto my board until I can find a way to get it to Europe.

I too would like an answer to this. I left mine back home in Atlanta with my brother. I moved to Romania and would love to find a way to ship it over here now that the airlines wouldn't let me take it. Any help OneWheel?

@atl1wheelin thanks for the recommendation. Went and rode Cochran Shoals last week and it was super fun. Would have invited you but it was spur of the moment. I may be up there at the end of the month and will let you know if I have get some time to ride again.
