@gadgetrider Not at the moment.
We do have a fix for it in the oven which should be released soon!
@desperado That is a great and elegant idea! I'll start working on this asap.
The go pro camera was attached with the 3M adhesive mount that comes with the camera.
I wouldn't recommend it, though, as soon as your board rolls over, the small clips break.
I am thinking of getting some sort of clamp so I can remove when not in use and avoid breaks.
x-post from the Onewheel Owner's Group from facebook:
I did a thing! https://youtu.be/yXMGHKQnptA
I'm calling it Onewheel Video HUD. Basically, it gets some logging information from my ride and displays them along the go pro footage of said ride.
The log has access to a ton of information from the board, like battery voltage, amps regenerated, etc.
Let me know what you guys think and what else would be cool to display on the video.
My script is completely open source, so feel free to contribute or make requests on github: https://github.com/wmaciel/onewheel-video-hud
Thanks for heads up.
My Pixel has not updated yet, so I'll wait for the fix.
I've never had people ask me outright, but if we are in a somewhat enclosed space I usually offer them a try.
I think of how bad I wanted to have a tiny taste of the feeling when I first learned about the board.
I can't imagine you being sued if someone falls from it. How's that your fault?
