#21000 arrived this week, first ride yesterday. Quite an improvement over my Kickstarter edition board - more torques, more speed, more sexy, and buttery smooth.

RE: Lower max battery charge for hill folk
Yes! Exactly this. I've just upgraded from a Kickstarter board to the +XR, and my first trip into town was constantly interrupted by bouts of needing to reverse uphill to burn off charge. A user-configurable max charge level (or at least an notification in the app) would be an ideal fix.

RE: Ruggedized power pack
Must be great timing - the molded connected-end of my cable broke yesterday, right at the power pack end. There's enough slack in the two internal wires to lay the molded stress-relief part of the cable flat against the end of the power pack. I used a sample pack of Shgru.com to make a custom rubber protector for the exposed wires & strain-relief. It is no longer the weakest part of the ensemble - that honour now goes to my left knee.
Standard safety disclaimer applies - DO NOT LISTEN TO MUSIC WHILE RIDING! You'll inevitably end up dancing on your board, misjudge the upcoming dip, and at that point the best you can hope to achieve is a left-shoulder-to-backwards-roll-popup-and-jog that lands in time with the beat.
(OMG - serious bonus points for landing the roll on the beat!!!)
TLDR: get some Shgru.com and make your own ruggidized power pack!

Ruggedized power pack
The ultracharger is small enough to fit in my back pocket, but for those <ahem> rare times I come off, it would be nice to know that the charger can take an impact. Detachable power leads on both ends would also be good.

RE: Changelog
If my board starts blasting hiphop at full volume, I'll know something's gone very wrong. :)

RE: Changing OneWheel Tire
...I had another thought about this. My tire was flat after only a few rides - I wondering if airfreighting an inflated tire halfway around the world could have damaged the valve? Could the drop in air pressure in a aircraft cause the tire to "over-inflate"? Perhaps it may be wise to drop the pressure before shipping?

RE: Any injuries?
A couple of times I ended up with grazed wrists, until I got a pair of wrist guards. Now I have a few deep scratches in my wrist guards, and none in my flesh. :)
Oh, and Franky, have you tried deflating the tire a bit for off-road riding? I normally top mine up to around 18 psi before pavement riding, but I'll let quite a bit of air out when I'm on grass. Makes all the difference for turning.

RE: Changing OneWheel Tire
Thanks FM - based on your post I'll continue using my board, even with all the little green drips of slime leaking out of it. :)
Looking forward to having a New Zealand distributor and service agent - if for no other reason than to give interested onlookers a local shop to buy their own OneWheel.
Congratulations again on breaking the laws of physics!
